About the WEA

The Workers' Educational Association (WEA) is the largest voluntary provider of adult education in the UK. It was founded in 1903 to enable working men and women to realise their full potential through learning. Today, as well as providing access to education for adults from all backgrounds (particularly those who have previously missed out on education), the WEA runs a wide range of leisure courses.

The WEA is a company limited by guarantee, registered in England & Wales (number 2806910), and a charity registered in England & Wales (number 1112775) and in Scotland (number SC039239). The WEA's registered office is: 4 Luke Street, London, EC2A 4XW.
